halie and the moon

Singer-songwriter Halie Loren’s band, halie and the moon, recently released their second album, “A Million Suns: Vol. 1.”
A very welcome follow-up to “Blue Transmissions: Vol. 1,” released last December.

The group is made up of
Halie Loren, vocalist
Daniel Gallo, guitarist/songwriter
Beau Eastlund, drummer
Bobby Stevens, bassist
Katherine Dudney, cellist/vocalist

I have long been an admirer of Halie Loren’s talent, and this new collaboration is very intriguing. They make a great sound. With her ethereal voice and the dream pop vibe of the band, a perfect combination.

Check out this awesome track from the album. Siiiigh.

This next one I’ll let Halie introduce: ‘An entry for NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest: A late-night living room rendition of our new song “Blue World” with Daniel Gallo and Halie Loren from halie and the moon..’
Whichever way you describe it, it is a beautiful song.
