Daniela Andrade

Daniela Andrade is a very talented singer / songwriter who hails from Edmonton, AB, Canada.
I first came across Daniela when I was building that “Creep” post a few days ago, she performed a truly sensitive version of that beautiful song.  So of course I needed to find out more about her and her beautiful voice.
Daniela’s music has received national television airtime on the USA network drama series, “Suits”. Daniela’s music has also been featured on CBS’s “Supergirl” and CTV’s “Saving Hope”.
None of the mentioned TV shows have I seen, as usual.
She has 1 million plus views on YouTube and has just recently completed a far east and USA tour.  Once you hear these tracks you’ll be hoping for a new tour soon, somewhere near you.
A beautiful reflective song.  The first from the Visual EP Shore.
Daniela’s voice is so smooth and pure.  Loving it.

Some great videography here and another great song from Daniela.
Filmed in Chefchaouen, Morocco and the light so shows up the flawless beauty of Daniela Andrade, as the song shows up her flawless voice.

Daniela has been a very busy girl this year, releasing all of these videos.  But it must have been fun wandering around Morocco.  This is a more upbeat song than the previous two.  Really enjoying her voice.

I have to say, having watched the four videos that the combination of a narrative story, stunning visuals and incredible music is brilliant.  And each one of the songs stands up to the other, and compares favorably to anything anyone else is providing nowadays.

So many young singers do covers, and so many are good.  This is a beyond good cover of the gorgeous Shakira song.  But how often do you find the covered showing up at the coverer’s place to listen in?  Too cute, and I bet Daniela enjoyed this one.
Hips Don’t Lie

“If you couldn’t tell, I was nearly losing all my marbles throughout this entire video.
Life is wild.”  ~ Daniela

We’re gonna finish up with a cover of one of my all time favorites.
Covering Edith Piaf is certainly brave, but Daniela nails it, that’s for sure.
La Vie En Rose

Creep

Creep by Radiohead, a truly beautiful song and pretty much all of the covers are better than the Radiohead version. That is not said as a knock on Radiohead, it’s just that the song is so good.

Well I’m back on my obsession with this beautiful song. At the bottom of the page you’ll find some links to hear more of my obsession.

So no real words needed, we just have to get to the music.

An awesome version by Brandi from an amazing concert.

Then there’s this unforgetable version from the then 17 year old Jena, one of Idol’s best graduates.
Jena Irene

A very sensitive version by a young lady who’s work I don’t know. I’ll have to resolve that problem. Love the soaring voice in the chorus.

Looks like maybe this one will stick around, unlike the various other versions I had featured in the past.

This is a truly beautiful version by the very talented Carrie. And just wait for the power section of this awesome song, the build up is fucking amazing. Wow!!!!
Carrie Manolakos

Another amazing version, a very different version I have to say.
A very powerful version.
KSHMR

The singer asked not to be featured but she’s incredibly talented and all my respect to her. Thanks for listening  KSHMR

This one is special. So fucking special. So very special. Wow!
