In case you are one of the very few on the planet who didn’t know, 2CELLOS are Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser.

They really need no introduction because of their awesome performances in the past, and I’m sure it will just keep getting better and better.

I can’t believe it’s been five years since they first hit YouTube big time, at the time I featured them on the old blog. Link at bottom of the page.

I just needed a hot cello fix. And who better?

This video has over 61 million views at the time I’m writing this, but I wanted it here on this page so I can always find it.
This is 2CELLOS at their very best.

This is a great mix of old and new, love the concept.
This video has only 3+ million views, but it has only been around almost three months.

Whole Lotta Love vs. Beethoven 5th Symphony

Gonna end with a live performance from the Arena Pula, Croatia.
The Arena is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre to have four side towers and with all three Roman architectural orders entirely preserved. It was constructed in 27 BC – 68 AD and is among the six largest surviving Roman arenas in the World. A rare example among the 200 Roman surviving amphitheatres, it is also the best preserved ancient monument in Croatia. [Thanks Wikipedia for the info]

They are playing in Greenwich, London tomorrow July 5. Good luck finding tickets.
I think the 2CELLOS version of this song is definitely the best, it’s as if Coldplay wrote it for them.

Viva La Vida

Here is the promised 2CELLOS link to the old blog for the August 2011 post.
